A first regional meeting of the capitalisation process focused on the stock of buildings owned the regional administration. It was held on May 29th, organised by the Emilia-Romagna Region.
The meeting took place in the Emilia-Romagna Region premises.
About 20 people, regional managers, officers and technicians representing the different competent departments and structures of the administration, attended the meeting. The objective of the meeting was to describe SHERPA results and output produced during the testing phase regarding the energy renovation (ERB) projects for the regional offices and discussing scenario, perspectives, supporting measures and plans for implementation of ERB projects.
Ms. Claudia Mazzoli, the project coordinator for the Emilia-Romagna Region introduced SHERPA, results of the testing phases as well as the objectives and the tasks of the capitalization phase in next months, including the preparation of the roadmap for the renovation of the stock or regional buildings.
Fabrizio Tollari and Massimo Bottacini of ART-ER, the regional development agency providing technical support to the Region, presented in details the works and the outputs produced on the regional buildings.

- the technical feasibility studies about energy renovation specific measures and the overall renovation projects, including evaluations of financial feasibility.
Mr. Francesco Raphael Frieri, General Director for resources, Europe, innovation and institutional affairs, and Mr. Leonardo Draghetti, General Director of the Regional Council started the discussion about outcomes and perspectives for energy renovation of building, evaluation and bankability of projects.
The discussion focused on scenarios, resources and opportunities as well as on operational details such as financial indicators, organization of a regional working group for energy renovation of buildings, public procurement and project financing schemes, executive plans for assuring continuity of operations of the regional government and the regional board.
The participants also had the opportunity to watch the first video prepared about the regional buildings within SHERPA activities.
Mr. Marcello Capucci, Head of Dept. for urban quality and housing policies and Manager responsible for the project at the Emilia-Romagna Region, made the final comments and conclusions.
