The presentation event took place on the 20th October 2017 in Barcelona and was presided over by the by Mrs. Meritxell Borràs, Catalan Minister of Governance, Public Administrations and Housing.
The presentation was complemented on the 23rd. October by a training session addressed to the technicians of the municipalities interested in engaging with the project.
EDI-Net, in which Catalonia takes part as a pilot site, is funded by the European Commission through the Horizon 2020 Programme, and aims at identifying waste and savings opportunities in the public buildings through the analysis of short time series metered energy and water data.
The EDI-Net software is also being used to monitor and analyse the consumption data of the public buildings taking part in SHERPA.
