The 1st SHERPA National Seminar was held in Bologna (Italy) on October 19th and gathered around 60 people, most of them coming from public authorities.
This event was a real success as it was organised back to back with internationally renowned trade fair for the construction sector, the SAIE.
On Friday 19 October the first national seminar of the MED SHERPA project was held in Bologna, within SAIE 2018, one the main exhibition fairs and events in Italy about building technologies, renovation and automation. The seminar was organized by the Emilia-Romagna Region with the collaboration of the Abruzzo and Lazio Regions and with the technical support of ERVET, the Emilia-Romagna regional development agency,
In the first part of the event, the three Italian Regions partners of SHERPA, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio and Abruzzo, described their work about energy efficiency of buildings, the results of the SHERPA testing phase and their long-term strategies that could be used to renovate the stock of public buildings. A specific speech by the University of Bologna described innovations included by the new Directive 2018/844 / EU on energy efficiency of buildings.
In the second part the SHERPA model was the reference scheme to introduce and deepen some practical tools for assuring the quality and bankability of the projects developed by SHERPA and other European projects: IMPULSE and SISMA, which are part of the same MED community; LEMON funded by the Horizon 2020 program.
